The Mind and Life XX Conference entitled "Altruism and Compassion in Economic Systems: A Dialogue between Economics, Neuroscience and Contemplative Sciences" co-organized by Tania Singer took place from April 9-11, 2010, Kongresshaus, Zurich. In addition to His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, a number of other leading minds who are working on the foundations of economic decision making, cooperation, prosocial behavior, empathy, and compassion spoke at the conference (including Ernst Fehr and Tania Singer from the University of Zurich).
