Psychiatry under the Lens of Algorithms - First Zurich Computational Psychiatry Meeting

Computational psychiatry is an emerging field at the intersection between neuroscience and psychiatry. The aim of this highly interdisciplinary field is to build mathematical models of the neural and cognitive processes that underpin psychiatric disorders. A major challenge of computational psychiatry is to bring together the expertise from different disciplines to create a common language that elucidates the mechanisms of psychiatric disorders. With this conference, we want to initiate an exchange between different disciplines to enhance mutual understanding, inspire re-evaluation of research objectives, and kindle the beginning of novel collaborative projects. Interested researchers from related disciplines (psychology, psychiatry, neuroinformatics, neuroeconomics, neurobiology, …) are welcome to take part in this conference!
